Most Poorly Written Ending Ever

Loved this series, but absolutely HATED the ending. It ended incredibly abruptly with Connor's death and then there was no closure. All loose ends were quickly swept under the rug- her love for Connor, Vincent's role in everything and what happened with him, Connor's new wife just leaving after the deaths of her father and husband, etc. I was really into this series aside from the lack of pause between scenery and time change (needs some visual cue that days have passed), but will not recommend it to anyone because of the absolute waste of an ending. The lead character's depth vanishes and with everything else it was just extremely poorly written.

Speechless

I read the entire series eager for the third book. Overall, I really did not like Sebastian as a character or love interest. He was selfish and Connor was ALWAYS there for Sophie. I was rooting for Connor. That being said, I could not be more disappointed with the end of the book. If I had known, I would have second guessed my choice at reading the series.

Good series, bad ending

The series is a nice quick read. The main character is likeable. I think the ending was a little rushed and I can't say I liked it. It seemed like there were still loose ends. So she dreamed about those eyes, but all the Lovells have them. Am I the only one that suspected Varma was gay? And Vincent seemed like he should have played a bigger part.
And as far as Sebastian, he isn't a very likeable love interest. After is attitude in Book 2 about the fire, it wouldn't have been an issue for me. Connor was always there for her and always seemed to understand her. I felt like they had more passion. Seems like she would be settling with Sebastian.
So Bleh, overall, crappy ending IMO. Series had more potential, but a good read.
