Forgiveness is an option

This book has been a labour of love and offers so much hope for adult children recovering from alcoholic or dysfunctional childhoods. Claudia shares how, with God's help, forgiveness is an option and it sets a person free to break the cycle with future generations. This book will touch your heart and make you cry as you travel her emotional journey. It covers so many issues including the care and response to elderly parents. God bless you, Claudia, for sharing such an important story.

Honest and touching

This memoir is beautifully written and grabs your attention right from the first page. The authors real-life experiences are peppered with humour as she deals with the hardships of growing up with an alcoholic father. Her emotional struggles take a turn when she realizes that change starts with her own heart. This is a touching and memorable story which not only gives us a glimpse into the author's life, but she also gives us a glimpse into the times in which she lives through these experiences by including beautiful details such as songs that were popular at the time and other significant and delightful details. This is a journey of faith and hope and most important of all, redemption.
