Dr. Mark Melton, LCSW, is an associate professor in the Department of Special Education at Northeastern Illinois University, where he has taught for five years. Philip Lambert is Professor of Music at Baruch College and the Graduate Center, City University of New York. He is the author of Alec Wilder; To Broadway, To Life! About the Author

Patricia Hearron teaches child development and early education at Appalachian State University where she has coordinated the Birth-Kindergarten teacher preparation program since 1994. Before coming to Appalachian, she worked with children and families in a variety of roles: as Child Life Specialist in a children’s health clinic; a teacher and director of full- and part-day programs; a state child care licensing agent; and as a consultant, conducting professional development workshops for teachers and caregivers in Michigan, North Carolina and Texas. In addition to Management of Child Development Programs , she is co-author (with Verna Hildebrand) of Guiding Young Children . She has published and presented on a wide variety of early childhood topics, including the importance of outdoor play, inclusion of children with disabilities in infant-toddler programs, the project approach, and aspects of the Reggio Emilia approach to early education and care.

Verna Hildebrand taught child development and early education in the College of Human Ecology at Michigan State University. She is internationally recognized as an expert in the field and has published several widely used textbooks, including an Introduction to Early Childhood Education ; Parenting: Rewards and Responsibilities ; and Knowing and Serving Diverse Families . Delisioso - A Fantastic Cookbook!

Being rasied in Corpus Christi, TX, I was given this cookbook at age 19 and have loved it ever since. It has so many good, simple recipes and ingredients are reasonable. The section on Mexican cooking is my favorite and I refer to it constantly. Everyone I have ever cooked for from this cookbook LOVES the meals, and many are requested regularly! I own MANY cookbooks and I'd say this is the most used of all.

About the Author
"Terry and Gerry Audesirk" grew up in New Jersey, where they met as undergraduates. After marrying in 1970, they moved to California, where Terry earned her doctorate in marine ecology at the University of Southern California and Gerry earned his doctorate in neurobiology at the California Institute of Technology. As postdoctoral students at the University of Washington's marine laboratories, they worked together on the neural bases of behavior, using a marine mollusk as a model system. Terry and Gerry are now professors of biology at the University of Colorado at Denver, where they have taught introductory biology and neurobiology since 1982. In their research lab, funded by the National Institutes of Health, they investigate the mechanisms by which neurons are harmed by low levels of environmental pollutants. Terry and Gerry share a deep appreciation of nature and of the outdoors. They enjoy hiking in the Rockies, running near their home in the foothills west of Denver, and attempting to garden at 7000 feet in the presence of hungry deer and elk. They are long-time members of many conservation organizations. Their daughter, Heather, has added another focus to their lives. "Bruce E. Byers," a midwesterner transplanted to the hills of western Massachusetts, is a professor in the biology department at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He's been a member of the faculty at UMass (where he also completed his doctoral degree) since 1993. Bruce teaches introductory biology courses for both nonmajors and majors; he also teaches courses in ornithology and animal behavior. A lifelong fascination with birds ultimately led Bruce to scientific exploration of avian biology. His currentresearch focuses on the behavioral ecology of birds, especially on the function and evolution of the vocal signals that birds use to communicate. The pursuit of vocalizations often takes Bruce outdoors, where he can be found before dawn, tape recorder in hand, awaiting the first songs of a new day.

Nick Spalding is an author who, try as he might, can't seem to write anything serious. He's worked in the communications industry his entire life, mainly in media and marketing. Not my cuppa "mean" tea

There is a lot wrong in this novel at least for me. I did read the whole novel however it was hard to finish. First of all it is kinda creepy to be writing your dead mother about your dating life even if it is some form of therapy. Next some of the dating scenarios seem stuck in the 90s with current technology added in to make it more hip I guess. I enjoyed it in Bridget Jones because it was relevant at that time; now not so much. I find the humour in the dates more on Jamie's blog than in Laura's journal, sometimes I cannot even tell the difference between Jamie's voice and Laura's. Spalding does not write the female voice well, there is no humour only whining, pathetic complaints. I like humour but "mean" humour is just something hard to enjoy. One thing I can possibly say is that Jamie and Laura do deserve each other, they can happily live in their self absorbed worlds.

I read a lot of reviews of this book that said it was hilarious. The only negative reviews seemed to be about all the sex and bad language, which I don't care about at all, so I borrowed it from the Kindle library. I returned it after two chapters and asked for my borrowing privilege returned. It was just awful. I don't know why it's funny to make fun of someone's looks. I get making fun of someone being an ass, but the shape of their butt or the fact that they have a lazy eye? That is what 10 years olds do--wait--mean 10 year olds. So save your money or your borrowing privilege unless you enjoy mean humor.

Hilarious!

Sometimes you find a book that ticks every box for you. Love...From Both Sides was that book for me. It is well written, very funny, and entertaining. It had me giggling, chuckling, snorting, and laughing myself silly with tears in my eyes more than once. More importantly, it was very believable (I guess that's what real-life tales means), and I could easily relate to the heroine. Another thing that I liked was that the book was told from both male and female points of view, and I found it very refreshing. I definitely recommend Love...From Both Sides and its sequel Love...And Sleepless Nights.

Very nice comprehensive reivew

I am not big on writing reviews; however, this book deserves a comment. The chapters are very well written and takes you in depth with every disease. I like the lymphoid neoplasms chapters little more than myeloid. They are written better than the WHO and enable you to understand the background and the classifications in depth. The only draw back I would say is sometime I feel it contains a lot of academic nonsense; but I must say it is limited to a few number of pages. Good review to use before during your fellowship and may be a bench review during sign-out. The online version of the book is excellent. Overall, it is worth buying it.

I love this book. I'm a hematopathologist and I feel like it is basically an extended edition of the WHO, it is as comprehensive as the WHO but with much more detail and differentia diagnosis, I love it!!! Would highly recommend!!

Adam Filippi is the Director of Global Scouting for the Charlotte Hornets, after spending 10 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and winning 3 NBA championship rings. As a player development coach, Adam has worked with over 100 NBA and overseas professional players. Specializing in shooting technique, and a world class shooter himself, Adam has written 2 books: in February 2011, he released his first instructional basketball book�SHOOT LIKE THE PROS: The Road to a Successful Shooting Technique, with a foreword by Jerry West; in April 2016, his second book,�Mastering the Art of Free Throw Shooting, with a foreword by Hubie Brown.�A Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, he has conducted camps, workshops and clinics in the USA, Spain, Italy, China, Ireland, Sweden, United Arab Emirates and more, to teach fundamental basketball skills to players of all ages and levels.

Basic, intermediate, some advanced...excellent!

My son seem to improved his skills, technics, tactics and fine tune / adjustment to his shots. Practice make pefect. Believe in yourself, don't second guess yourself (don't become your own worst enemy.). Practice, be positive and supportive. Love the games, win or lose, it's all about having fun, improve your skills, technics and tactical. Peace in the courts, keep it fun and real.

Fantastic book ! A must read for coaches and players of all levels ! All areas of basketball shooting are explained clearly and in detail, from the fundamentals of shooting mechanics to the game situations, from the physical and mental aspects to the drills. This is really "The Shooting bible" !
